About this opportunity
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), which is part of the Department of Commerce, has published a Special Notice for the purpose of executing improvements to the X-Ray Data Acquisition and Control (XDAC) software associated with operations of the NSLS-II beamlines at Brookhaven National Laboratory. NIST intends to negotiate this on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a Single Source. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by emailing randy.schroyer@nist.gov by 5:00PM EST on August 13, 2024. However, this notice is not a request for competitive quotations, and NIST has sole discretion in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future based on the responses received.
