About this opportunity

The Naval Supply Systems Command is procuring two wire harnesses (OEM Part Number F113283) for critical ship's mission equipment under a sole source contract with Lake Shore Systems/Trident Marine. This is a simplified acquisition justified by urgency and limited source availability, as the wire rope damage discovered during operational checks could render the vessel non-operational and compromise crew safety. The procurement requires the contractor to be an authorized distributor of the specified OEM parts and to comply with federal acquisition regulations including cybersecurity, supply chain security, and telecommunications equipment provisions. The solicitation mandates that offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and submit invoices through the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system. The proposal deadline is January 22, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, with prospective offerors responsible for downloading the complete solicitation from SAM.gov and monitoring for any amendments.

This procurement is designated as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside and is being conducted under a firm, fixed-price contract with Free on Board (FOB) origin shipping. Lake Shore Systems/Trident Marine is the sole source contractor for these replacement parts, as confirmed by NAVSEA Technical Manual S9583-CY-OMI-010, with the Original Equipment Manufacturer being the only qualified source due to proprietary data limitations and certified testing requirements. The delivery location is Sasebo, Nagasaki, Japan, with a required delivery date of April 13, 2026, and NAVSUP WSS Transportation is provided at no cost to the contractor as a mandatory requirement. The contractor must include any additional fees such as tariffs, duties, taxes, and customs in the line item pricing, as no parts will be shipped to the Bremerton, Washington alternate location. The NAICS code assigned is 333923 (Overhead Traveling Crane, Hoist, and Monorail System Manufacturing), and the PSC category is 5995 (Cable, Cord, and Wire Assemblies: Communication Equipment).
