About this opportunity
The U.S. Embassy London is seeking window cleaning services for two residential properties located in London, UK, with a base year contract and four potential option years. The Department of State aims to award the contract to a responsible company specializing in window cleaning services that submits the lowest-priced acceptable offer. Contractors must be fully compliant with federal anti-discrimination laws and certify they do not operate diversity programs that violate these regulations. The solicitation will be published on SAM.gov under RFQ #19UK5625Q0027, with responses due by April 23, 2025. The government intends to make an award based on initial quotations, potentially without further discussions, though they reserve the right to engage with companies in the competitive range if necessary.
All companies seeking to do business with the U.S. Government must register on the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) for contracts valued over $30,000, which requires obtaining a free NCAGE code. The contract falls under the PSC Category Z1FA for Maintenance of Family Housing Facilities. While no specific set-aside has been designated, interested parties must demonstrate specialized expertise in window cleaning services. No specific budget range or contract value was disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice. The contract timeline includes a base year with four potential extension years, indicating a potential maximum contract period of five years. Contractors must be prepared to provide comprehensive window cleaning services for two residential properties in the London area.
