About this opportunity
The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) has issued a Special Notice to provide professional Workplace Assessment of Violence Risk (WAVR-21) training to its Department of Defense Insider Threat Management and Analysis Center (DITMAC) and Prevention, Assistance and Response (PAR) office. This training is designed to help the federal government and other organizations prevent insider threats by identifying individuals who may pose a risk of violence and developing strategies to manage and mitigate that risk.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for these specialized training services. The contract will provide two, two-day training sessions - one in Arlington, VA for approximately 20 participants and one in San Diego, CA for 21 to 40 participants. The training program must be tailored to the specific needs of DITMAC. The authority for this sole source procurement is the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b), which allows for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold to be solicited from a single source if the contracting officer determines that only one source is reasonably available. The contractor must have the required specialized expertise, and the period of performance is May 22-23, 2024 and June 26-27, 2024. This Special Notice is not a request for proposals or quotations, but interested small businesses may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for consideration.
