About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command at Robins Air Force Base is conducting market research via Request for Information to identify sources capable of providing a VXI to PXIe Converter Chassis (Part Number PXIe03, configuration: 3 VXI slots / 8 PXIe slots) to support the Advanced Test Equipment Modernization (ATEM) effort for USAF personnel, with responses due by July 17, 2026. This RFI is restricted to ATSA-I awardees only.

The hardware must include a controller but no instruments. Respondents must be prepared to clearly define mitigation strategies for obtaining proprietary information if proposing equivalent hardware, as the Government does not own or possess source data, drawings, or schematics for the item.

Responses must address contractor capability across business information (company details, CAGE code, business classification), general capabilities (ATE chassis experience with VXI and PXIe architectures, product availability, lead times, existing GWAC or GSA Schedule offerings, technical support), manufacturing and supply chain management (parts obsolescence mitigation, warranty terms), and business practices (supply chain management, quality assurance, counterfeit prevention, shipping, and technical documentation delivery). Submissions are limited to 10 MB in Word, PDF, or Excel format and must be sent electronically to jonathan.riggins.2@us.af.mil and michael.carter.78@us.af.mil within 15 days of posting.

Participation in this market research does not guarantee future solicitation or contract award participation. The Government will not reimburse response costs. Both large and small businesses, joint ventures, and teaming arrangements are encouraged to participate.
