About this opportunity
NASA's Shared Services Center seeks quotations for video system modernization and upgrade at its Glenn Research Center facility in Cleveland, Ohio, with proposals due August 11 and questions due by day three of posting (July 31). The procurement is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 541512 (Computer Systems Design Services). A single-source brand-name requirement applies, specifying authorized resellers and integrators for Pelco and Hanwha video management systems.
The facility to be upgraded is Building 402 of the Creek Road Cryogenic Complex (SMiRF) at NASA Glenn Research Center, 21000 Brookpark Road, Cleveland, Ohio. The existing system, over ten years old, presents cybersecurity vulnerabilities due to unsupported operating systems, lacks spare parts availability, and experiences increasing failures critical to safety and facility monitoring in hazardous testing environments.
Required deliverables include two Hanwha explosion-proof PTZ cameras with 32X optical zoom, one Wisenet Wave NVR with 4 pro licenses and 16TB storage, four Wave camera licenses, two Pelco Spectra Enhanced 8 Series PTZ cameras with 30X optical zoom, four Pelco Exsite Pro Series explosion-proof PTZ cameras with 30X optical zoom, six Pelco 60W POE injectors, two Hanwha 60W POE injectors, and one Ubiquiti 24-port switch with 400W total POE budget. The vendor must be located within 20 miles of the facility, provide eight hours of onsite installation and commissioning support including training, and deliver all services within six months of purchase with one-hour telephone and four-hour onsite response capabilities. Evaluation uses lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). Offerors must be registered at SAM.gov and provide CAGE/UEI code, FOB destination, leadtime, and points of contact in bids.
