About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command is seeking contractors to perform upgrade services for Veeder Root TLS 450PLUS systems at Minot Air Force Base in Northwestern North Dakota. The project involves replacing existing Veeder Root TLS 350 and TLS 350 Plus systems across one Squadron of five Missile Alert Facilities and fifty Launch Facilities, with options for two additional Squadrons. Contractors must have specific technical certifications, including Service Technician, Level 1-Installer, and Level 2/3 Technician Certifications, and must provide a North Dakota licensed master electrician for on-site electrical work. The contractor will be responsible for complete system removal and replacement, including control consoles, sensors, probes, wiring, and EMC Enclosures, following all Veeder Root installation manuals and requirements. The sources sought notice requires a minimum one-year warranty and compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and other relevant safety standards, with a response deadline of June 5, 2025.

This is a total small business set-aside contract with specific technical requirements for equipment installation across missile complex facilities. The project includes detailed equipment specifications for both Missile Alert Facilities and Launch Facilities, with each site requiring multiple components such as TLS450PLUS consoles, application software, sensor modules, probes, and various technical accessories. Contractors must submit employee identification information and prepare an Entry Authority List (EAL) at least 30 days prior to work, with strict limitations on personnel numbers. The government has built-in flexibility with options to expand the project to two additional Squadrons and potentially acquire seven additional Veeder Root TLS 450PLUS systems. While no specific award value is mentioned, the comprehensive technical requirements and multiple site installations suggest a significant and complex procurement effort focused on upgrading critical infrastructure at a strategic military installation.
