The due date for this solicitation has been extended to Tuesday, 27 June 2023 at 1230 EST.

The due date for this solicitation has been extended to Monday, 26 June 2023 at 1230 EST.

The 316th CES requires that its static display aircraft, VC-140, be moved from its current location, Building 1245 to a set of newly constructed pylons approximatly 1/4 mile away, to 1914 Menoher Drive Joint Base Andrews. The contractor shall prepare the aircraft to be able to travel on a normal street and provide saftey measures for the transport of the aircraft in accordanace with the Statement of Work (Attachment 1). 

The services required are as follows:

1. Disassemble VC-140 from current pedestal outside of building 1245
2. Transport, reassemble and install on new pedestal between buildings 1417 and building 1419
3. Perform daily cleanup of construction site
4. Provide protection of existing government facility, grounds and equipment during construction
5. Provide protection for personnel working in the area
6. Provide protection for communications equipment during work activities
7. Remove all construction debris from the work site daily and/or as needed
8. Provide all equipment rental, with operators, to complete all required work
9. Repair any damage to site after aircraft has been placed

The contractor will be responsible for selecting an Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC) regulated carrier for transportation of the VC-140 aircraft. In regards to the selected carrier, all of the following are the responsibility of the contractor:

1. Pickup inspections
2. Delivery inspections
3. Payment of all transportation costs
4. Obtaining an acceptable amount of cargo liability insurance

Any required permits and/or licenses will be the sole responsibility of the contractor to obtain prior to the work order start date
