About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command seeks repair and maintenance services for utility terrain vehicles and snowmachines at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, with proposals due May 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM PDT. This is a 100% small business set-aside; NAICS 811111 applies with a $9.0 million size standard.
Place of performance is Eielson AFB, Alaska (99702), and the contractor's facility must be located within a 50-mile radius of the base. The procurement covers preventative maintenance on eight Polaris UTVs (RZR 570 and RANGER XP 1000 models) and ten Ski-doo snowmachines (SKANDIC SWT 900 ACE and EXPEDITION models ranging from 550cc to 600cc), plus unscheduled repairs. UTV maintenance includes engine oil and filter replacement, air filter service, gear case and belt/clutch inspection, brake and suspension inspection, axle boot inspection, and lubrication. Snowmachine maintenance includes oil and filter replacement, engine compression testing, clutch and drive belt inspection, spark plug service, exhaust and cooling system inspection, track tension and alignment adjustment, and bogie wheel inspection. Contractors must address outstanding manufacturer recalls. Unscheduled repairs under $2,500 may be approved by the government Point of Contact; repairs exceeding $2,500 require Contracting Officer approval. Parts reimbursement is cost plus no more than 10% markup. The contractor must not provide any service or product requiring Class I Ozone Depleting Substances in test, operation, or maintenance activities. The period of performance runs October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2031 (base year plus four optional one-year periods). Service Contract Act wage rates apply. Evaluation uses a subjective trade-off approach weighing price and Supplier Performance Risk System assessment as approximately equal factors. Amendment 0002 (May 4) extended the deadline from May 4 to May 7; Amendment 0003 (May 7) published a revised Statement of Work. Contracting officer is Alexis Grimes (alexis.grimes@us.af.mil); ombudsman is Lisa A. Gross (618-299-0267 or lisa.gross@us.af.mil).
