The solicitation requires submission of electronic quotations by February 5, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EST to nicole_c_johnson@fws.gov, and interested contractors are encouraged to schedule a site visit prior to submission. Two amendments have been issued to the solicitation—Amendment 1 on January 28, 2026, providing consolidated questions and answers, and Amendment 2 on February 2, 2026, offering additional generator service team contact information and clarifying that the Government will provide diesel fuel for startup.
This is a Total Small Business set-aside procurement, meaning only Small Business concerns are eligible to submit quotations; offers from non-small businesses will be rejected as nonresponsive. The estimated project value ranges between $25,000 and $100,000, with contracts exceeding $35,000 requiring a Payment Bond and contracts exceeding $150,000 requiring both Payment and Performance Bonds. The work must be completed within 30 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with the performance period established as March 2, 2026, through April 16, 2026. Work will be conducted at the Jones Hole National Fish Hatchery during normal duty hours (Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.), and the contractor must engage a licensed electrician and Kohler-certified startup technician to maintain warranty compliance.
