About this opportunity

This solicitation seeks research services from public and private universities to conduct a study on the United States Marine Corps' Gender-Integrated Recruit Training program. The Marine Corps seeks to examine alternatives to its current recruit training models and the practices of other military services to make recommendations to integrate genders to the greatest extent possible. Proposals will be evaluated based on the offeror's proposed study approach, staffing approach, and research experience. Quotes are due by September 9, 2020.

There is no set-aside designated for this requirement. The solicitation is limited to public and private universities only, with a one-year base period of performance and a six-month option period to complete all deliverables. The total evaluated price is $150,000 with $100,000 for the base period and $50,000 for the option. The study will examine recruit training at Marine Corps bases in Parris Island, South Carolina and San Diego, California. Travel costs will be reimbursed separately with a not-to-exceed amount.
