About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps seeks an academic study of its gender-integrated recruit training through this pre-solicitation notice. Interested public universities must describe relevant capabilities and experience, provide a cost estimate, and recommend a North American Industry Classification System code by July 2, 2020. The selected contractor will review previous reports on gender integration, examine practices of other military services, identify alternative training models, recommend pilot programs, and deliver a final published report by February 1, 2022. Work will be performed at government facilities including Marine Corps Base Quantico, Marine Corps Recruit Depots Parris Island and San Diego, Fort Benning, Lackland Air Force Base, and Naval Station Great Lakes.
No set-aside designation is used. The anticipated NAICS code is 611310 and PSC code is R499. The study must be completed and final report delivered within 18 months.
