About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of Education is issuing an unrestricted Request for Quote (RFQ) to procure a qualified vendor to scale and strengthen Standards-in-Action (SIA) training and technical assistance resources and professional development for the Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education (OCTAE), Division of Adult Education and Literacy (DAEL). The key objectives are to implement and sustain standards-based education in adult education classrooms, improve learner outcomes, and ensure adult learners obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for post-secondary education, training, and economic self-sufficiency. The Department will evaluate quotes based on technical, past performance, and price factors, with an anticipated award in late Q3 FY2024. Quotes are due by May 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM EDT.
This is a single fixed-price contract with a 14-month base period and a 10-month option period, under NAICS code 611710 (Educational Support Services) with a $24 million size standard. The incumbent vendor is StandardsWork, who previously completed an OCTAE initiative. The Department anticipates awarding a single contract with a total evaluated price of less than $1,200,000, but may select a quote above or below this amount if it provides the best value.
