About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, in collaboration with the U.S. Coast Guard, has issued a Special Notice announcing a Vendor Outreach Matchmaking Event (VOME) scheduled for September 10, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. This virtual event is specifically designed to support the third generation of the Regional Multiple Award Construction Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts (RMACC III). The event targets businesses that provide construction, architectural and engineering, and construction-related services. Registration is now open for firms interested in participating as either prime contractors or subcontractors across various Coast Guard regions. The notice includes a detailed breakdown of planned set-asides by region, including 8(a), SDVOSB, HUBZone, and 100% small business designations across ten different Coast Guard districts.
The primary purpose of the VOME is to facilitate matchmaking between small and large businesses to strengthen capabilities and encourage federal contracting participation through subcontracting opportunities, joint ventures, teaming partnerships, and mentor-protege relationships. Prior to registration, firms must review the active RMACC III Opportunity ID 70Z08725RRMACC003 and published artifacts from the Virtual Industry Day. The event is limited to businesses genuinely interested in the USCG RMACC III requirements and provides a virtual platform where participants can present their core capabilities, identify teaming possibilities, discuss capability gaps, and explore various business relationship opportunities. The platform includes comprehensive features for profile creation, business matching, meeting scheduling, and communication tools, with technical support available throughout the process. This initiative represents a strategic effort by DHS to create a stronger, more diverse vendor base for future federal construction contracting opportunities across all Coast Guard regions.
