The procurement requires contractors to inspect all shore tie terminals for damage, corrosion, and moisture intrusion; perform repairs and sealing to prevent future moisture intrusion; test terminals for proper operation; inspect and clean electrical lines running from the FRC Floating Pier Isolation Transfer to shore tie terminals; and conduct Megger insulation resistance testing to identify potential failures. Contractors must be appropriately licensed for marine electrical work and comply with applicable electrical codes and safety standards. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced technically acceptable contractor based on firm, fixed-price bids submitted on an FOB Destination basis that includes all shipping costs. The proposal deadline is March 13, 2026, at 3:00 PM Alaska Time, with inquiries directed to Senior Field Contracting Officer Deno Stamos at deno.a.stamos@uscg.mil.
