About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Headquarters Air Force Academy is seeking installation services for displays throughout the Madera Cyber Innovation Center. The contract involves professionally mounting 75" and 55" displays across multiple floors of a three-story facility, with the government providing all necessary mounting equipment and displays. Potential contractors must be capable of installing wall-mounted and mobile cart displays in over 20 rooms, following strict placement guidelines and working only during USAFA core hours (7:30-4:30, Monday-Friday). Interested businesses must submit capability statements electronically by February 10, 2025, at 2 pm MST, including details such as DUNS number, CAGE code, SAM expiration date, and a comprehensive capabilities package not exceeding 5 pages. Evaluation criteria will likely focus on past performance references, business size, socioeconomic status, and ability to meet specific installation requirements.
The opportunity is categorized under NAICS code 238210 for Electrical Contractors with a size standard of $19M, and is currently not designated as a small business set-aside. The installation project encompasses a total of 40 TV displays, including 75" and 55" models, to be mounted across multiple floors with specific room-by-room configurations. The anticipated period of performance begins on or after March 24, 2025, and will continue until the installation is complete, with an Air Force Program Manager present during the entire process. Contractors must provide their own installation tools, ladders, and equipment, and will be responsible for coordinating schedules with the USAFA Project Manager, obtaining proper badging, and cleaning up all packaging materials. While no specific budget range is mentioned, the complexity of the installation across multiple rooms and floors suggests a potentially significant contract value for the selected vendor.
