About this opportunity

The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs seeks to award multiple indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts to provide forensic and non-intrusive inspection equipment, services, training, and program management support. Requirements include forensic and laboratory equipment, thermal and infrared imaging systems, drug and chemical detection equipment, and non-intrusive inspection equipment for cargo, rail, vehicles and pedestrians. Awards will be made on a best value tradeoff basis to contractors that can strengthen police, courts, and corrections systems in foreign countries. The base period of performance is one year with four one-year option periods. The solicitation is anticipated to be released in July 2019 with responses due 15 days thereafter.

There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The primary NAICS code is 541715 and PSC code R425. The incumbent contractors are unspecified. The total value of awards is not stated but will likely range from $50-100M given the scope and five-year period of performance. Equipment and services are to support INL counterdrug and counterterrorism initiatives abroad.
