About this opportunity
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is procuring installation services for capacitors on an Eaton UPS System through a firm fixed price contract. The work involves installing Eaton VRLA Sealed capacitors in Building 1003 at the Keyport facility, along with fan replacement services to extend the UPS equipment's life and reliability. This is a sole source procurement justified by the proprietary nature of Eaton UPS systems, requiring only Eaton-certified technicians to perform the specialized maintenance work. The contract will be evaluated based on technical acceptability, with price and past performance equally weighted, and awarded to the technically acceptable offer providing the best value to the government. All questions and offers must be submitted electronically to michael.a.albanese12.civ@us.navy.mil by the September 5, 2025 deadline at 10:00 AM, with an estimated award date of September 12, 2025.
This procurement is designated as a Women-Owned Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 811210 with a size standard of 150 employees, despite the government description indicating no set-aside was used. The work will be performed at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport facility in Keyport, Washington, with delivery scheduled Monday through Friday between 0600 and 1730 hours, excluding government holidays. The contract includes a 12-week performance period from the date of award and carries a Defense Priorities and Allocations System rating of DO-C9. The solicitation includes two primary line items covering capacitor installation and field activity report documentation for the fan replacement work. While specific award values are not disclosed in the available documents, the procurement involves critical infrastructure maintenance for the facility's data center operations.
