About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Information Operations Division is seeking a contract for a short-term lease of 37 Multi-functional Devices (MFDs) for various U.S. military facilities in Japan. This Request for Information (RFI) is designed to assess market interest and vendor capabilities for a comprehensive equipment lease that includes installation, removal, full-service maintenance, consumable supplies, key operator training, reporting, relocations, and network security functionality. The RFI requires vendors to deliver and have all devices operational by February 1, 2025, with a base period from February 1-28, 2025, and an optional extension through May 31, 2025. Interested vendors must submit their business information, including DUNS number, CAGE code, and point of contact details, by January 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST. This is a voluntary market research effort that does not obligate the government to award a contract.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations for this procurement. The opportunity covers 37 MFDs distributed across multiple military installations in Japan, including locations in Kadena, Atsugi, Camp Courtney, Misawa, Camp Zama, Futenma, Camp Hansen, Camp Foster, and Yokota. The devices will service various military commands, including Marine Corps, Air Force, Army, and Navy facilities. While no specific award value is mentioned, the contract encompasses a maximum four-month lease period with comprehensive equipment and service requirements. The primary government contacts are Tyler Bowman, Contract Specialist, and David Corvino, Contracting Officer, both from the Defense Logistics Agency. The procurement falls under Product Service Code (PSC) 3610 for Printing, Duplicating, and Bookbinding Equipment.
