About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is conducting a sources-sought market survey for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) to support its Aviation Program Office training fleet, with responses due by September 9, 2026. No proposals are being requested at this stage; USACE is gathering industry comments and capability validation before releasing a formal solicitation. The anticipated contract vehicle is Firm-Fixed-Price.
USACE requires five Skydio X10 UAS units, five Skydio 3D Scan licenses, and ten Skydio 150W batteries to replace its existing Skydio X2 training fleet, portions of which are no longer flight-worthy or serviceable. The X10 platform will align training equipment with the operational UAS systems currently deployed by USACE personnel nationwide, ensuring training relevance and standardized instruction for UAS Basic Qualification certification.
Respondents must provide point-of-contact details, CAGE code, SAM UEI number, small-business and socio-economic status, and verifiable proof of supply chain access or past performance delivering comparable drone systems. Documentation should include evidence of distribution agreements, existing inventory, or delivery track record for similar UAS platforms.
The NAICS code is 334511 (Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing). Inquiries may be directed to Adrian M. Montague, Aviation Program Office Program Manager Operations and Airspace, at (938) 250-9578 or adrian.m.montague@usace.army.mil.
