About this file
This is a Requirement Statement/Purchase Description issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Aviation Program Office on September 2, 2026.
USACE is seeking to purchase five Skydio X10 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), five Skydio 3D Scan for X10 software licenses, and ten Skydio 150W batteries for the X10 UAS to replace and sustain its training fleet. The current training fleet consists of Skydio X2 systems, which are no longer in production and have been superseded by the X10 platform. Portions of the existing X2 fleet are no longer flight worthy, and some batteries are unserviceable. The purchase is necessary to ensure the training fleet reflects the current UAS platform used operationally by USACE personnel in the field and to maintain relevant, standardized, and effective training capability for UAS Basic Qualification training. The requirement supports training relevance, readiness, and safe operations by equipping trainees with equipment that matches operational use across the organization. The point of contact for this requirement is Adrian M. Montague, Aviation Program Office Program Manager Operations and Airspace, at (938) 250-9578 or adrian.m.montague@usace.army.mil.
