About this opportunity
The Bureau of Reclamation seeks procurement of strong motion monitoring equipment—10 Titan SMA accelerographs or equal, 10 Titan accelerometers or equal, and 10 Centaur Digital Recorder digitizers or equal—with quotes due August 31, 2026 at 4:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time. This is a total small business set-aside. Amendment 0001, effective August 28, 2026, extended the close date from August 28 and provides an updated Statement of Work, updated Schedule B pricing template, and vendor questions and answers. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of the amendment by the close date.
Place of performance is the Denver Federal Center, Building 67, Entrance E3, Room 165. Delivery is required within 90 days of award. The equipment will integrate with Reclamation's existing Strong Motion Monitoring Program Realtime Data Acquisition System to record ground motion from earthquakes affecting Reclamation facilities, enabling quantification of peak ground accelerations and provision of continuous recorded waveforms for structural assessment and model verification.
Technical specifications include triaxial force balance accelerometers with selectable full-scale ranges of 0.5g to 4g, minimum 155 dB dynamic range, DC to 200 Hz minimum bandwidth, 24-bit digitization with 145 dB minimum dynamic range at 100 sps, 8 GB internal flash storage with external 64 GB removable media capability, MiniSEED file format, Ethernet connectivity with SEEDlink real-time data streaming, GNSS/PTP/NTP timing with sub-microsecond UTC accuracy, and operation across −20°C to +60°C with IP67–IP68 environmental ratings. Digitizers must achieve 10,000 sps on high-resolution channels. CLIN 20 accelerometers must provide 40 Vpp differential analog output with MIL-C-26482G connector; digital-interface equivalents are not acceptable.
Evaluation weighs price, technical capability, warranty coverage terms and conditions, and delivery schedule equally. NAICS 334513; PSC 6680. Quotes must include pricing on Schedule B, technical documentation, warranty terms, and delivery lead times via email to Aubrielle Watson, aubrielle_watson@ios.doi.gov.
