About this opportunity
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Idaho State Office is soliciting quotes for treated buck and pole fencing materials to be delivered to their Pocatello Field Office. The procurement requires furnishing and delivering approximately 2,500 linear feet of fencing materials, including 230 treated notched "buck" pairs (5ft x 5.5in), 915 treated fence rails (12ft x 3.5in), and 115 treated fence posts (8ft x 3.5in). Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and submit quotes electronically by September 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM Mountain Time. The government intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a desired delivery date of September 30, 2025. Evaluation will be based on technical capability (demonstrating conformance with salient features and specifications), delivery schedule, and price, with award potentially going to the best value rather than necessarily the lowest price. Any questions must be submitted by email no later than September 9, 2025, by 5:00 PM Mountain Time.
This acquisition is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 321114 (Wood Preservation) with a size standard of 550 employees. No incumbent contractors or potential award values are specified in the solicitation documents. The contract involves delivering specific quantities of treated lumber components configured as 3 rails on the front and 1 bump rail on the back for the fencing system. All materials must be delivered to 4350 Cliffs Drive in Pocatello, Idaho, with delivery restricted to Monday through Thursday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, excluding federal holidays. The contractor must provide 48 hours' advance notice of delivery, and the BLM will provide a forklift for unloading the materials. The entire project must be completed in Idaho, with the period of performance running from September 25, 2025, to September 30, 2025.
