The Volpe Center seeks contractor support in understanding both the effects on the human operator of the advances in technologies across the different modes of transportation, and the opportunities afforded by such advances. Developing this understanding will better enable the Volpe Center to ensure that the government catalyzes safe, effective technologies, accelerates innovation, and facilitates action derived from sound science.
