THIS ANNOUNCMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE
This notice fulfills the transmittal of synopsis per FAR 5.207. 



GENERAL INFORMATION: The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio Lackland, Texas in support of the Inter American Air Forces Academy (IAAFA) intents to conduct a Non-Personal Services acquisition for Training Aircraft Maintenance. Requirements under this acquisition will include training aircraft maintenance services ensuring all Ground Instruction Training Aircraft (GITAs), Trainer Aircraft Aids (TAA), mock ups/training aids, and Support Equipment (SE) Aerospace Ground Support (AGE) are maintained to applicable standards and available to meet instructor and student needs as required. Other responsibilities include Plans and Scheduling (P&S), Engine Management Branch (EMB), Aerospace Vehicle Distribution Officer (AVDO), Support Section management, Technical Order Distribution Officer (TODO/TODA), and related duties as identified. The governemnt anticipates solicitation will be a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA), 100% Service- Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.5. An electronic solicitation for this requirement is anticipated to be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov) on or about August 2017.



The NAICS Code is 488190 (Other Support Activities for Air Transportation) with a size standard of $32.5 million. The Government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract to include a basic year plus four (4) option years. Systems for Award Management (SAM) registration will be madatopry.
