About this opportunity

The U.S. Marshals Service Asset Forfeiture Division is issuing a sole source justification for a 6-month contract with RBEX, Inc. to provide towing, storage, maintenance, and disposal of seized/forfeited vehicles in New York and New Jersey. The contract, valued at $452,287.30, will run from February 23, 2025 to August 22, 2025, and covers a range of vehicles including cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, specialty vehicles, and trailerable boats. RBEX, Inc. is being awarded the contract as the sole source provider due to their existing infrastructure, proven performance as the incumbent, and ability to provide immediate services without interruption. The agency cites personnel attrition and competing requirements as reasons for not conducting a competitive acquisition, with plans to release a new competitive award by the third quarter of 2025. Interested parties may submit their capabilities to Christopher Benca via email by February 21, 2025, though the government retains discretion in determining whether to proceed with a competitive procurement.
