About this opportunity
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is seeking capable vendors to provide total aviation mission support services through a forthcoming contract opportunity, Solicitation Number 15DDHQ24N00000001. The required services include program management, aircraft and avionics maintenance, training, logistics, inventory management, and administrative support to sustain the DEA's worldwide aircraft fleet in a safe and fully mission-capable condition. Interested vendors must demonstrate experience in these areas and submit capability statements by February 2, 2024, responding to the requirements, proposed supply chain management plan, cost accounting system description, and descriptions of similar past performance. The DEA will also hold an Industry Day on April 4, 2024 for interested vendors to discuss requirements and tour its Air Operations Center facility.
This procurement opportunity is not set aside for any socioeconomic category. The relevant NAICS code is likely 481211 (Nonscheduled Chartered Passenger Air Transportation) and the PSC code may be J010 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment). The incumbent contractor, if any, is not identified. The total contract value and budget details are not provided in the pre-solicitation notice, but the notice indicates a significant budget increase from FY21 to FY22 due to aircraft purchases and maintenance events.
