The Department of the Air Force's Air Mobility Command is issuing a 100% Small Business set-aside solicitation (FA448424Q0052) for the complete repair and restoration of an existing bronze statue located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. The work includes repairing all visible stress cracks, fixing any incomplete prior repairs, blending all repairs to remove signs of deterioration, sandblasting the entire statue to remove oxidation, painting with a graphite spray to achieve a statuary appearance, and applying a protective coating in either a satin or high gloss finish. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Proposals are due by 10:00 AM on September 30, 2024.
