Performance Work Statement ABW Historian Statue Repair At

JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, NEW JERSEY

1. DESCRIPTION OF NON-PERSONAL SERVICES:

a. The contractor shall repair and restore the existing bronze statue.

2. TECHNICAL_REQUIREMENTS:

a. Repair all visible stress cracks.

b. Fix all repairs that were started and not completed.

· All repairs to be blended into the statue leaving no signs of deterioration.

c. Sandblast entire statue to remove all oxidation.

d. Paint with graphite spray to achieve statuary appearance from original casting.

e. Apply protective coating to be applied in either a satin or high gloss finish.
