Statement of Work Thomas B. McGuire, Jr Statue Renovation and Relocation The scope of work is as follows in the Statement of Work. The vendor shall furnish and assemble all material outlined below to construct a modular building. No alteration, additions or deletions shall be made to the contract unless prior approval is given in writing by the Contracting Officer (CO). The Thomas B. McGuire, Jr. bronzed statue located outside building 3011 needs to be removed for the purpose of renovation and repair. Once these renovations and repairs are completed, the statue will be relocated to the Joint Base Heritage Park adjacent to building 3011. This location will be coordinated through the Joint Base Historian prior to the statues return once repairs are completed.

Vendor must provide the following specifications for the removal, repair, renovation, and relocation of the Thomas B. McGuire, Jr. statue:

1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

a. Contractor would need to inspect and prepare the statue for removal from building 3011 prior to being moved to the location where repairs and renovations will take place.

· The contractor will need to come to our location to conduct the repairs.

· The entire statue will be relocated approximately 50-75 feet to the east of the building adjacent to the parking lot.

· Coordinate with the base historian for exact location and orientation.

b. Make repairs and renovations that will maintain its original look as designed and created by the original sculptor, Mr. Masood Ali-Wilbert Warren.

· The statue is 8-feet and it sits on a square base that is 3 feet 5 inches by 3 feet five inches.

c. Return statue to the Joint Base Heritage Park on JB MDL located adjacent to building 3011.

d. Provide all materials and equipment for the movement, repair, renovation, and relocation of the statue.

2. Miscellaneous

a. Coordination for final placement location will be conducted with the Joint Base Historian. A map showing this location will be provided.
