About this opportunity

The Federal Aviation Administration requires projector upgrade services at its Air Traffic Control System Command Center in Warrenton, Virginia. The procurement will remove existing projector infrastructure, install six new projectors with lifts and screens, provide staff training, and ensure functionality of the new control system after a 30-day test period. Interested vendors must submit capability statements by August 13, 2020 describing experience with similar services and number of years in business to be considered. The FAA will use responses to determine if adequate competition exists to set aside the procurement among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, or 8(a) certified firms.

No set-aside designation has been made at this time. The procurement is seeking capability statements from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, and 8(a) certified firms in order to obtain information necessary to determine if adequate competition exists to set aside the competition. Responses should include the vendor's capability statement, size and type of previous contracts, number of years in business, and if applicable a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter. The FAA will use responses to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy and competition structure.
