About this opportunity
This solicitation from the Department of the Treasury seeks contractor support services for the maintenance, periodic testing, and operation of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program Claims System. The selected contractor will be required to activate the system in the event of a certified terrorist act and process any resulting claims from covered insurers, making payment recommendations. The contractor must also assist Treasury with administrative functions under the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act. Proposals are due by December 30, 2022 and will be evaluated on the offeror's technical approach and pricing. The period of performance is one base year starting in February 2023 with four one-year option periods.
There is no set-aside designation. The NAICS code is 524292 and services include claims processing, system maintenance, and administrative assistance. Pricing will cover labor rates and estimated hours across multiple years. The total estimated contract value was not provided but could be significant given potential high costs from a major terrorism event. Work will take place at a contractor facility within the continental United States.
