About this opportunity
The Federal Highway Administration is conducting market research for a potential five-year Technical Support Services Contract to provide experienced researchers, engineers, and technicians to support activities in four of its Infrastructure Laboratories located at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center. The contract aims to support the Geotechnical Laboratory, J. Sterling Jones Hydraulics Research Laboratory, Nondestructive Evaluation Laboratory, and Structures Laboratory through services such as geotechnical, hydraulics, and structural engineering research assistance; laboratory operations and maintenance; and technical assistance. Interested firms should submit capability statements not exceeding 15 pages by October 19th outlining their relevant experience.
The anticipated total contract value is estimated at $53 million. While no set-aside is designated, the contract may be set aside for small businesses. The predominant NAICS code would be 541715 with a secondary PSC code of R425. No current contractors were identified, but responses should demonstrate experience providing similar research support services for government infrastructure laboratories. Key details include supporting activities across four specialized laboratories for the full five-year period.
