About this opportunity
This Special Notice from the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection regards amendment A0009 to solicitation 2017036109 for the TACCOM II program. Following receipt of proposals under the initial solicitation, CBP determined it was in the government's best interest to amend the solicitation and allow offerors to resubmit proposals in their entirety.
The amendment will include a detailed checklist to ensure completeness and proper submission of resubmitted proposals. Upon issuance of the amendment, estimated for the week of February 19, 2018, any offeror who has not been advised of elimination from the competition must resubmit its proposal using the checklist. Offerors are advised to carefully review the amendment and resubmission requirements to participate in the continued TACCOM II competition. Failure to fully comply with the resubmission instructions and checklist may result in elimination from consideration. CBP seeks complete and compliant proposals to further its review and selection under the amended TACCOM II solicitation.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL 2017036109
NOTICE TO OFFERORS
February 6, 2018
The following notice is issued to Offerors who have submitted a proposal in response to the Department of Homeland Security, Solicitation Number 2017036109.
Following the receipt of proposals, the Executive Agent for this acquisition, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), has determined that it is in the best interest of the Government to amend the solicitation and allow for the resubmission of proposals in their entirety. In accordance with FAR 15.206(c), the forthcoming amendment will be issued to Offerors who have not been eliminated from the TacCom II competition. To ensure completeness and proper submission by Offerors, CBP intends to issue the amendment with a detailed solicitation checklist to aid Offerors in their resubmissions. Nonetheless, it is the obligation of each Offeror to exercise diligence to ensure full compliance with all requirements of the solicitation in a proposal resubmission, including but not limited to each and every instruction contained in Section L.
Therefore, upon the issuance of the forthcoming amendment, any Offeror who has not been advised by CBP of their elimination from the competition as of the date of the amendment must resubmit their proposal, including careful completion of the mandatory checklist to be provided.
CBP anticipates that Amendment A0009 will be released the week of February 12, 2018.
