About this opportunity
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has issued a Special Notice for the Cutter Boat - Aids to Navigation - Small (CB-ATON-S) Program. The CB-ATON-S program seeks to procure up to 66 small boats to be deployed from the USCG's Waterways Commerce Cutters to conduct aids to navigation operations, search and rescue, and personnel transfers in areas where the larger cutter vessels cannot safely navigate.
The CB-ATON-S boats will be procured through a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a 5-year base ordering period and a 2-year option. The government plans to release the Request for Proposal via beta.sam.gov in early December 2024. Contractors must be able to construct the vessels within the United States per 14 USC 665 and 10 USC 7309. The program will utilize the tradeoff source selection process, and the government has attached draft versions of the Statement of Work and Technical Specification for contractor review.
