About this opportunity
The National Cancer Institute intends to solicit proposals to ramp up additional population-based central cancer registries to collect and report on cancer incidence, treatment, and survival data as part of the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program. Proposals are due by February 24, 2020. Evaluation criteria include meeting mandatory requirements to be the designated collector of cancer data for a specified geographic area and committing to use the SEER*DMS data management system. Awards are anticipated by November 2020 for an eight-year period of performance under multiple IDIQ contracts with a combined value between $1,000 and $500 million.
There is no set-aside designation. The primary NAICS code is 541715 and PSC code R425. The current incumbent is the International Medical Statistics group under contract to provide the SEERDMS system. The place of performance will be at each awarded registrar's location, collecting data for their legally defined coverage area throughout the United States. Registries will be responsible for migrating their data to the SEERDMS platform according to a three-phase timeline.
