About this opportunity

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office East (MRCO-E) is seeking potential sources for staffing, management, and maintenance of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) at Keller Army Community Hospital in West Point, NY. The Department of the Army Medical Command will be procuring business process outsourcing (BPO) services for sterile processing operations. Contractors are required to submit a capabilities statement demonstrating they meet the salient characteristics outlined in the attached Statement of Objectives. All interested businesses must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must include their business size relative to NAICS code 622110 in their response. The sources-sought notice requires email submissions to jessie.g.hart.civ@health.mil by March 4, 2025, with responses including company name, CAGE code, UEI, and contact information.

The procurement is anticipated to result in a single firm-fixed price contract with a one-year base performance period and four potential one-year option periods, with an estimated start in October 2025. There are currently no specific set-aside designations for this opportunity, meaning both small and large businesses can compete. The government will use the responses to determine the best acquisition strategy and assess whether the procurement can be successfully competed. Responses should address potential alternative NAICS codes if contractors believe a different classification is more appropriate. While no specific award value is mentioned, the contract will cover comprehensive sterile processing services for the Army medical facility. Telephonic inquiries are not permitted, and no reimbursement will be provided for preparation or participation in the market research process.
