The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) John F. Kennedy Space Center's Launch Services Program (LSP) is seeking proposals for a Spacecraft Processing Operations Contract (SPOC) to provide facilities and services to support processing and integration activities for spacecraft and launch vehicles at locations near Kennedy Space Center/Cape Canaveral Space Force Station or Vandenberg Space Force Base. The contractor must designate a facility at one or both locations to allow spacecraft and launch vehicle organizations to conduct activities in preparation for launch vehicle mating. Comments on the draft solicitation are due within 10 days of posting, with final proposals for the firm-fixed-price contract due around 15 days after release of the final RFP on December 5th and anticipated award by January 20, 2023.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) John F. Kennedy Space Center’s (KSC) Launch Service Program (LSP) invites you to to review and comment on the Space Processing Operations Contract (SPOC) draft solicitation. 

LSP is responsible for NASA’s acquisition and program management of commercial launch vehicles for NASA’s science and robotic missions. LSP also provides processing facilities and support for these spacecraft, satellites, or payloads. 

The SPOC Contractor will provide facilities and services to facilitate and allow the spacecraft/launch vehicle organizations to conduct the processing and integration activities in preparation for mating the spacecraft with the launch vehicle at facilities near launch sites.  The Contractor shall designate a facility located near either Kennedy Space Center (KSC)/Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) or Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB), or both.
