About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Eustis is conducting market research to procure office furniture for TRADOC's Building 467 at Fort Leavenworth. The requirement includes approximately 8 workstations (either free-standing or cubicle/panel supported) measuring around 6' x 8'3", with specific features such as lockable storage, overhead shelving, adjustable height desks, and monitor arm mounts. Additional requirements include a sound-proof pod for voice-over work, mobile collaboration tables, and furniture for a director's office. Interested businesses must submit a capabilities statement package of no more than ten pages by 4:00 p.m. CST on April 11, 2025, electronically to Natalie Burcher or Sheldon Gresham. The government will evaluate submissions based on the ability to meet technical requirements and potential for small business participation.
The procurement is currently not set aside for any specific small business category, though it may be restricted to small businesses under NAICS code 337214 with a size standard of 1,100 employees. The Product Service Code for this procurement is 7110 (Office Furniture), and the government is open to potentially making multiple awards based on the responses received. While no specific budget range is mentioned, the scope involves furnishing an entire office space including workstations, collaborative areas, and a director's office. This sources-sought notice is explicitly for market research purposes and does not guarantee a contract award. Potential vendors should carefully review the technical requirements and prepare a comprehensive capabilities statement that demonstrates their ability to meet the specific furniture and configuration needs of TRADOC's Building 467.
