This is a Sources Sought Notice for the purposes of conducting market research and obtaining industry information ONLY. Proposals are NOT being requested nor accepted at this time. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information from businesses that would be interested and capable of the types of services/construction noted below. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) will use information obtained through this synopsis as well as other market research to develop an acquisition strategy. The USFWS anticipates soliciting and awarding (1) one Firm-Fixed price design-build construction contract for design and construction of onsite photovoltaic systems at San Luis National Wildlife Refuge Complex near Los Banos, CA. The work is expected to include design and construction as well as options for ongoing operation and maintenance services.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code will be 237130 Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction. The small business size standard is $39.5 Million.
All business categories are invited to respond. (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address. (2) DUNS Number. (3) Business type (i.e. Large Business, Small Business, (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), 8(a) Program or other. (4) Provide up to three (3) examples of similar/relevant projects. Your firm shall identify if work was completed as the prime contractor, subcontractor, or joint venture. If your firm was a subcontractor, describe the services your firm provided. If your firm was the prime contractor, provide a project title, total contract amount, and location. All responses to this notice should be submitted to Nicholas Koston at nicholas_koston@fws.gov by no later than close of business 12/15/2021.
