Update #4 · Latest ·

This amendment is to clarify the requirement for laboratory testing for IH services. The Denver Federal Center has a NVLAP certified laboratory on-site which the winning Contractor may access for samples taken in the Denver area only. Costs for the laboratory samples will be billed directly to GSA under their current agreement with Federal Occupational Health. Accordingly, interested Contractors need not budget for this expense. The on-site laboratory is able to provide real time analysis via PCM, PLM, and TEM methods.

Update #3 ·

This amendment is to extend the due date to April 15, 2011, and to provide the following clarification:

Interested parties need not produce full-blown proposals in response to this request for sources.  Interested parties may use their best judgment to determine how much information and effort is reasonable, given their resources, to submit to assist the Government in determining whether they are a qualified source.

Update #2 ·

This amendment reflects a change in the NAICs code from 621340 to 541380.  Although both codes are applicable to this requirement, the posting system only allows one NAICs code.  The portion of this requirement with the greatest monetary value is the hazardous materials testing piece.  Accordingly, it is appropriate to select the NAICs code that applies to that piece.

Update #1 ·

The General Services Administration requests information regarding available small businesses to assist with its occupational health program.  There are 2 (two) program areas:  (1) Industrial Hygiene; and (2) Medical Surveillance.  These programs include but are not limited to Asbestos Management, Indoor Air Quality, Drinking Water Quality, and Environmental Assessment, Asbestos Medical Surveillance Management, and Baseline and Exit Physicals for employees.  These programs are used to evaluate the environmental risk of each facility and to provide information to contractors hired to do work within the facility and to monitor the health of employees who are expected to have some routine exposure to workplace hazards.
