About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is conducting market research for the inspection, repair, and testing services of the Module Test Fixture (MTF), NSN 6625-01-441-1608AH, a critical component of the Nuclear Certification Test Station (NCTS) used to support Weapon System Processor certification and programming at Air Force missile wings. This Sources Sought notice seeks to identify potential sources capable of performing test, teardown, and evaluation services on the MTF in accordance with applicable technical standards and procedures. The government is particularly interested in responses from small businesses, including 8(a) participants, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned businesses, HUBZone-certified firms, and Women-Owned small business concerns. Interested parties must respond by March 25, 2026, end of business day, with detailed information about their company background, business lines, DoD contracting experience, and specific experience with MTF inspection, repair, and testing services. The government will use the responses to determine whether the procurement can be conducted competitively or as a total small business set-aside, and no evaluation criteria have been established at this pre-solicitation stage.
This Sources Sought notice is not a formal solicitation or request for proposal, and no set-aside designation has been applied at this time; however, the government is evaluating whether a small business set-aside would be appropriate based on market research responses. No incumbent contractor or current award value has been identified in the notice, and the government acknowledges it does not currently possess a complete technical data package for the effort. The applicable NAICS code is 334111 (Electronic Computer Manufacturing), and the PSC code is 6625 (Electrical and Electronic Properties Measuring and Testing Instruments). Responses should include information regarding the company's ability to perform 50 percent of the work with its own employees and identify any anticipated integrators or teaming partners involved in the effort. Questions regarding this market survey should be directed to Justin Raleigh at justin.raleigh.1@us.af.mil, with all capability survey responses due no later than 5:00 p.m. MST on March 25, 2026.
