About this opportunity

This Special Notice was published by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command seeking capabilities statements from suppliers for stormwater quality management products and services to support a weapons magazine and ordnance operations facility project at Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Connecticut. Interested vendors are requested to submit capabilities statements by March 25, 2024 demonstrating experience providing underground stormwater quality chambers, detention chambers, diversion manholes, hydrodynamic separators, or CDS hydrodynamic separators suitable for the project site.

The Notice seeks to identify qualified contractors to design and implement stormwater management solutions for the new facility that meet Connecticut regulatory requirements given existing site constraints including wetlands and bedrock. Responses must include experience providing Contech products and are to be emailed to the Naval Facilities Engineering Command by the stated deadline. Additional documents provide cut sheets on suitable Contech devices and request company information from potential offerors to understand their qualifications, bonding capacity, and proposal approach for the design-build project scheduled to begin in fiscal year 2025.
