About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command's 90th Civil Engineer Squadron at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming is conducting market research to identify qualified sources for facility repair and handyman services under NAICS code 561210 (Facilities Support Services), with a small business size standard of $47.0 million. The contractor will be responsible for providing minor maintenance and corrective repairs to various facility types including dormitories, office spaces, and common areas, encompassing electrical, mechanical, plumbing, building interior, and painting services. Key requirements include establishing a quality control plan, maintaining a management system for tracking service calls and work orders, providing Service Call Repair Reports within five business days of completion, and maintaining a site manager available during core operating hours (7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday). The government is using this sources sought notice to gather industry input regarding contract structure, pricing approach, and operational requirements prior to issuing a formal solicitation, with responses requested by March 10, 2026, submitted to Ms. Laura Hunter at laura.hunter.6@us.af.mil or Ms. Liezel McIntyre at liezel.mcintyre@us.af.mil. The government is specifically seeking feedback on contract term viability, preferred pricing structures, approaches to meeting routine and urgent service response times, and facility space requirements through a Request for Information containing four substantive questions.
This is a sources sought notice for market research purposes only, and no awards will be made from this announcement, as emphasized in the government's communications. No incumbent contractor or potential award value is identified in the pre-solicitation materials provided. The contract will likely include a one-year base period with four one-year option periods, as the government is soliciting contractor input on this structure. Interested parties must respond with capability statements, product brochures, or specifications demonstrating their expertise and experience in facility repair services, along with company information including CAGE code and business size status (small business, SDB, 8(a), VOSB, SDVOSB, HUB Zone, WOSB, or other). The contractor will need to classify service calls as either routine (requiring response within three business days and completion within 21 calendar days) or urgent (requiring one-business-day response), and employees must possess proper experience, qualifications, and current safety certifications. All communication regarding questions or clarifications should be submitted in writing to the designated contract specialists, as phone inquiries are not accepted.
