About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Headquarters District Washington is preparing to procure mission support services through a Blanket Purchase Agreement and intends to solicit responses by late July 2026, with a sources-sought capability statement due by 13 July 2026 at 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
The Air Force seeks to establish one or more qualified contractors to provide commercial rental equipment, limited equipment purchases, delivery, setup, teardown, operational support, personnel coordination, lodging coordination, and recovery services supporting National Special Security Events, exercises, emergency operations, dignitary visits, force protection surges, and other contingency-driven special events. Primary performance occurs at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, other military installations, and federal sites within the National Capital Region, with potential expansion to other locations as mission requirements dictate.
Required services include labor, management, transportation, equipment (including generators), materials, and incidental items for site operations, emergency response, and personnel coordination. Event types may include political events such as Presidential Inaugurations and Joint Sessions of Congress; international events such as G-20 and United Nations General Assembly sessions; natural disasters; dorm infrastructure outages lasting longer than 24 hours; and morale and family-focused gatherings. Contractors must maintain current commercial catalogs or price lists for equipment rentals, purchases, delivery, setup and teardown, operator and technician labor, lodging costs and coordination, fuel service, maintenance, emergency service calls, and applicable fees. Pricing may be structured by line item, daily rate, weekly rate, monthly rate, mobilization charge, and emergency or after-hours surcharge.
The anticipated performance period is five years. Interested sources must submit capability statements including company information, CAGE code, SAM registration status, business size and socioeconomic status, relevant experience with contingency and NSSE requirements, short-notice support capabilities, geographic coverage, and rental equipment and service availability to adriagny.russomanno@us.af.mil.
