About this opportunity

The U.S. Embassy Ankara is seeking to procure one new multi-purpose low-roof light commercial minibus configured for a driver plus eight passengers (8+1 configuration). The vehicle must meet specific technical requirements including a Euro 6.2 diesel engine of approximately 2.0L class, an automatic transmission with at least eight forward speeds, and power-operated sliding doors, with dual doors preferred. Only offers from manufacturers, manufacturer-authorized distributors, or prime contractors that can source the vehicle from authorized sellers will be considered, and all offerors must provide proof of authorization and demonstrate full manufacturer warranty and servicing capabilities within Turkey. The government will evaluate quotations using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method, awarding a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the responsible company submitting a technically acceptable offer at the lowest evaluated price. Quotations are due by September 10, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. GMT+3, with late submissions not being accepted.

This solicitation does not utilize any set-aside designation and is open to all eligible contractors meeting the authorization requirements. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are mentioned in the solicitation documents. While specific award values are not disclosed, offers exceeding $30,000 must provide proof of System for Award Management (SAM) registration, and pricing must be submitted in either Turkish Lira or U.S. Dollars exclusive of VAT and Special Consumption Tax. The procurement involves a single minibus unit with a required delivery timeline of 45 days after receipt of order, and the vehicle must include a minimum two-year manufacturer's warranty valid in Turkey. The place of performance is Ankara, Turkey, specifically at the U.S. Embassy location in the İşçi Blokları area of the Çankaya district.
