About this opportunity
The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking offers for a 10-year concession contract to provide Lodging, Food and Beverage, and Retail services at LeConte Lodge within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The prospectus describes the business opportunity and includes the terms and conditions under which the NPS will award the concession contract. Interested offerors must submit proposals by September 5, 2024. Questions are due by July 18, 2024, and a Notification of Intent to Propose must be received by August 20, 2024. The NPS will evaluate proposals based on criteria such as responsiveness to park resource protection objectives, experience, financial capability, and proposed franchise fee.
This is an unrestricted procurement, with no set-aside designation. The incumbent concessioner will not be awarded the new 10-year contract. The prospectus provides historical revenue, expense, and visitation data to assist offerors, though the NPS does not warrant the accuracy of this information. The new concessioner will be responsible for all aspects of operating the lodging, food/beverage, and retail services at LeConte Lodge within Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
