About this opportunity
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has issued a Special Notice to announce its intent to issue a sole source purchase order to Optivor Technologies for technical support and maintenance of the Speakerbus Conference Bridge system. This proprietary system is used by FEMA to create, schedule, and manage audio conferences across multiple locations.
The purpose of this sole source procurement is to ensure the continued operation and uninterrupted conferencing capabilities of the existing Speakerbus systems installed at the FEMA Operations Center and two Alternate Operations Centers. FEMA has determined that Optivor Technologies, as an authorized Speakerbus partner, is the only source capable of providing the necessary hardware and software support. The Statement of Work outlines the maintenance, support, and telephone support requirements, as well as the need for the contractor to have a Top-Secret clearance and specific experience supporting FEMA's emergency communication systems. The period of performance is from June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025, and the Special Notice instructs interested parties to email the Contracting Officer with any questions or to confirm their status as an authorized Speakerbus vendor.
