About this opportunity
Paragraph 1:
The Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is seeking to award a sole source contract to Innovative Professional Solutions (IPS) for the repair of Advanced Acoustic Generators (AAGs) and Infrasonic AAGs (IAAGs), as well as provide cutter training for the Surface Minesweeping System. IPS personnel developed the repair procedures and techniques for these specialized generators and were trained by the Original Equipment Manufacturer. The Navy has determined that IPS's unique knowledge and experience with the AAGs and IAAGs, including their ability to design and fabricate the specialized tooling required, make them the only responsible source capable of meeting the government's needs. The procurement will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures, with a due date of June 21, 2024.
Paragraph 2:
This is a sole source procurement with no set-aside designation. IPS is the incumbent contractor and the only known firm capable of performing the required work. The contract award value is not specified, but the procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. The place of performance is Panama City Beach, FL.
