About this opportunity
The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), a component of the Department of Energy, has issued a Special Notice of Intent to acquire Integrated Asset Management (IAM) Counterparty Checkout Software enhancements from MCG Energy Solutions, LLC on a sole-source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for simplified acquisitions.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform interested parties that WAPA intends to procure enhancements to MCG's existing IAM software, which MCG developed and owns exclusively. WAPA is not seeking a new solution, but rather enhancements to the current system. Responsible sources may submit capability statements by the due date of August 7, 2024, which the Government will consider, though a determination not to compete is at the Government's discretion. The total estimated value of this one-time procurement is undisclosed. The work will be performed by MCG under their existing GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract, and the period of performance will align with MCG's IAM software license through December 31, 2024.
